Rules and Regulations Governing the Use of Student Locker
Location of Student lockers
Lockers are placed in the ground floor, alongside of the corridor. Lockers will be randomly allocated.
Eligibility
Each student can apply for ONE locker only.
Locker will be randomly assigned if the application is successful. Students are not allowed to select lockers.
For students with disabilities or special educational needs, they will be assigned one designated locker throughout their years of study at Gratia. Student shall approach Student Development Office (SDO) by email sdo@gratia.edu.hk to indicate their situation after submission of online application.
Rental and Deposit of Student Locker
1. No annual rental fee will be charged for the use of student locker. Refundable deposit of HK$100 will be collected upon allocation of lockers to applicants.
2. The deposit will be refunded to students upon his / her withdrawal / graduation.
Responsibilities
Student must take full responsibility for his / her locker. All lockers are not transferable.
Student should remember the locker number assigned and must use the assigned locker only.
Duration
Students will use the locker from the date assigned until he / she withdraws or graduates.
Storage
Food or goods of perishable, dangerous or illegal nature may not be stored inside the lockers.
Lockers tops are not proper storage space. Objects placed on top of the lockers will be confiscated.
Maintenance
Students should keep the lockers, both inside and outside, clean and tidy. No stickers or pictures are allowed to be adhered to the locker surface.
Students should report any locker damage to the SDO immediately and pay for the repair cost if necessary. The Facility Management Office (FMO) reserves the right to move the lockers in order to access to the wall behind or floor below for necessary maintenance.
Security
Students should provide a suitable padlock for his/her locker and keep it locked at all times. If a lock is found unlocked, the SDO will lock it up.
Students are advised not to store any valuable belongings such as cash, digital devices, personal identity documents etc in lockers. The College will not be responsible for the security, loss nor damage of the property kept inside the lockers.
Students should take full responsibility of items stored in their lockers. In case of theft, students are advised to report to the FMO.
Unauthorized Use
Unauthorized use of unoccupied or other’s locker is strictly forbidden. The SDO shall have the authority to open such lockers and dispose of all properties found therein at any time without notification.
Locker Clearance
All students are required to clear the lockers when they graduate / withdraw from the College. The exact deadline for locker clearance will be announced by the SDO every year.
Students have the responsibility to take note of the locker clearance date. After the deadline, the SDO shall not be responsible for safekeeping of any items found in the lockers.
Student who withdraws the study from the College or has successfully applied for deferment of study must clear his / her locker within 7 working days from the date of withdrawal / deferment. After that period, the SDO will have the authority to open the locker and dispose all properties found therein. The SDO shall in no circumstances be responsible for the safekeeping of any times found in the locker.

Online application needs to be submitted through the following link
http://moodle.gcc.edu.hk/locker and it will be accepted on first-come-first-served basis.
Deadline for application will be announced by SDO at the commencement of each academic year.
