Centaline Gratia Scholarship

Thanks to the generous donation of Centaline Charity Fund, the “Centaline Gratia Scholarship” was established to award and support the secondary school graduates with satisfactory academic achievements in the current HKDSE to continue their studies of full-time undergraduate degree programmes in Gratia Christian College.

The successful applicants will be awarded the amount of scholarship after deduction of the subsidy of “The Non-means-tested Subsidy Scheme for Self-financing Undergraduate Studies in Hong Kong (NMTSS)”. The scholarship will be renewed annually thereafter subject to the fulfillment of conditions. The academic performance and disciplinary record of the awardees in each academic year will be considered as the renewal conditions. The scholarship can be renewed up to three years.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  1. have completed full-time senior secondary education in Hong Kong; and
  2. have attained Level 3 in English Language and Chinese Language, Level 2 in Mathematics and Liberal Studies in the current Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE), i.e. 3322; and
  3. apply for the full-time undergraduate degree programme in Gratia Christian College; and
  4. provide the recommendation form signed by the Principal of the secondary school or the Pastor of the church.
 

Value of Award

Over HK$30,000 (equivalent to the amount of Year One tuition fee after deduction of NMTSS)

 

Renewal Conditions

The student should attain a minimum of 2.8 in GPA in each academic year with a clean disciplinary record (the scholarship can be renewed up to 3 years)

 

Recommendation Form for Application

Recommendations can be made by the Secondary School Principals or Church Pastors
