Gratia

Gratia Christian College (GCC) was established in 2015 and registered under the Post Secondary Colleges Ordinance (Cap. 320). All programmes offered by GCC have been accredited by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ). GCC is a private Christian tertiary institution that excels in liberal arts and professional education. The programmes feature both spiritual education and professional training to nurture servant leaders with both integrity and professional knowledge in serving the community.

The four Schools in GCC, namely School of Social Work, School of Education and Psychology, School of Business, and School of Christian Ministry all together provide a total of 11 tertiary education programmes which include four Bachelor’s Degree programmes, five Higher Diploma programmes, one Professional Diploma programme and one Diploma programme.

President's Welcome Message

Education is vital to the prosperity of a society and the development and well-being of a person. Under the context of the knowledge-based economy and globalisation, education plays an even more pivotal role in Hong Kong. At Gratia Christian College, we are aligned with the Chief Executive's 2023 policy address and are committed to developing talents with professional competence and good character to serve the community and contribute to the prosperity of Hong Kong through the development of talents needed.

At Gratia Christian College, our commitment to our mission is unwavering. We take pride in our unique courses, which are meticulously designed to foster servant leaders with Christian love, integrity, and professional competence. These courses, spanning Social Work, Education, Business, Psychology, and Christian Ministries, are not just academic pursuits, but a journey towards personal and professional growth. We expect our graduates to be dedicated to life, ready to serve, and competent to lead, with a vision of contributing to the betterment of our society.

Our courses are designed to support secondary school graduates in achieving their vision of pursuing a degree qualification to work as professionals. Students who satisfy the admission criteria can be admitted to a degree programme. Suppose they cannot achieve the minimum qualification for studying a degree programme. In that case, they can apply for a sub-degree programme, which enables them to complete a degree qualification with an articulation arrangement.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Gratia has received support from donations and sponsorship since its founding. This support from benevolent organisations, churches, charitable organisations, and individuals has been instrumental in our ability to provide quality education. Students in GCC with outstanding academic performance, special talent development, and good community services are recognised and rewarded with different scholarships. The donations we receive also enable us to provide special support to those students with needs, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to receive a quality education.

With God's grace and the concerted efforts of our colleagues, Gratia Christian College is celebrating its tenth year of operation. We have witnessed six cohorts of graduates, and more than 400 students have successfully graduated. Most of our graduates have joined the workforce in a profession related to their studies after graduation. This is a testament to the quality of education and the dedication of our students and staff, and we are proud of these achievements.

With the unwavering commitment of our academic and administrative teams, we are confident that GCC will continue to reach greater heights. We are dedicated to advancing GCC to become a leading private and independent Christian University rooted in Hong Kong, serve our country, and be open to the world.
