Senior Management Team from Gratia Christian College warmly welcomed the visit by the Government Representatives from the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit (CEPU) – 8 July 2025

Prof. CHUI Hong Sheung, President of Gratia Christian College and Prof. Sammy HUI, Vice President (Academic) of the College warmly received a delegation visit by Mr. Nicholas KWAN, Deputy Head of the Chief Executive’s Policy Unit (CEPU), Dr. Pamela TIN, Research Director, and Mr. Cyrus TSUI of the Unit for exchanging ideas on 8 July 2025.

The meeting focused on exploring how local higher education can be linked to the policy goals through mutual exchange. As a non-profit self-financing post-secondary educational institution, the Senior Management Team of Gratia shared the role of the College as a practical platform for youth development and support for disadvantaged communities. This also includes the unique “Core Values” of the College for education, and how it plays a role in the ethical, humanistic and holistic education in addition to innovation, technology and economy in the Policy Address, covering positive psychology, the nurture of servant leaders, and the promotion of sustainable development and community care.

In addition, the senior management team also shared the future connection and potential development of its institution with mainland education as well as explored the feasibility of policy research on ethnic minorities, life education and mental health.

The visit provides a valuable opportunity for the College to share its values and education development as well as a research foundation in the government policy formation in the future. We look forward to building up partnership with various stakeholders and government units in which education plays a vital role in contributing to the long-term future development of Hong Kong.
