2022香港學童情緒健康問卷調查結果發布會 (Chinese Only)

宏恩基督教學院及晉峰青年商會於2022年7月13日發布了「香港學童情緒健康問卷調查」報告,研究透過 56 條問題,對「情緒健康評估」及「對尋獲人生意義與親子關係」作出全面調查及檢討。 於疫情期間以問卷形式訪問,1501 名學童完成全份問卷,年齡介乎9 至18 。調查發現約兩成學童(19.7%)壓力指數屬高於正常水平,逾⼀成多學童感到抑鬱(13.4%)及焦慮(12.5%),與歐美國家 3-17 歲學童診斷抑鬱(4.4%)及焦慮(9.4%)相比,情況實在急需正視。其中學童的⼀些明顯情緒症狀包括: • 超過兩成學童「發覺自己很容易被觸怒 」(21.9%)• 約兩成半學童「感到很難自動去開始學習/工作」(23.9%)• 約三成半學童「憂慮自己恐慌或出醜」(34.7%) 宏恩基督教學院教育及心理學院助理教授兼副系主任錢鋒博士表示,本調查通過結構方程模型(SEM) 對多項變數(壓力、抑鬱、焦慮、人生意義及親子關係)的交互關係作定量研究。結果發現擁有人生意義及價值明顯能夠預測學童的情緒健康情況。而家長有主動協助子女建立正向價值觀及人生意義能進一步預防學童出現情緒問題。錢博士有以下建議: • 運用已實證的量度工具,識別受情緒困擾較嚴重的學童,作為自殺預防措施。• 家庭要建立「關懷」、「接納」的關係可令學童感到安全與放鬆。• 從小建立正向信念及有意義的人生價值觀可以有效減少學童情緒波動,而引發輕生念頭的機會• 家長主動協助建立正向人生意義可有效改善情緒健康狀狀況 發布會的其他分享嘉賓包括:立法會議員(教育界)朱國強校長、晉峰青年年商會王婉雯會長、宏恩基督教學院教育及心理學院副教授兼署理理系主任黃葉仲萍博士、正向家長學院總監梁辰民先生及抑鬱症復康者桐桐。

「基督教事工課程」異象分享暨感恩午餐會 (Chinese Only)

宏恩基督教學院(下稱「宏恩」)於2022年6月29日舉行「基督教事工課程」異象分享暨感恩午餐會,並邀請到香港考試及評核局前秘書長蘇國生博士擔任主禮嘉賓,透過活動向教會牧者、中學校長及機構代表等各界賢達,分享異象及介紹兩個「基督教事工課程」。 宏恩分別於2019年及2021年開辦資歷架構第4級的「基督教事工高級文憑課程」及第5級的「基督教事工榮譽學士課程」,在全港自資專上院校中,成為首間獲政府資歷架構認可開辦基督教事工學位課程的大專院校。兩個課程均提供全日制及兼讀制之上課模式;畢業學員可於教會、學校、基督教機構服務,亦可以申請政府職位等。課程將於2022年9月開課。 宏恩基督教學院校長崔康常博士表示:「宏恩基督教學院的異象是按聖經真理栽培學生成為僕人領袖,服務社會。宏恩的教學團隊期望學生可以透過修讀課程取得備受認可的學歷之餘,更重要的是他們的生命得著成長。宏恩於2022-23學年增辦『社會工作高級文憑課程』及『社會工作榮譽學士課程』兼讀制轉制修讀模式,栽培更多學生服務社會,進一步實踐學院的願景及使命。」他透露,宏恩現時收到的入學申請人數較去年上升1.5倍,他希望學院未來繼續向前邁進,為社會培育更多僕人領袖。 午餐會的主禮嘉賓香港考試及評核局前秘書長蘇國生博士致辭時,以四個英文字母「M」開頭的詞彙作分享 – Momentum(動量)、Mission(使命)、Message(信息)及Maturity(成熟),並勉勵宏恩持續發展。他表示:「宏恩基督教學院成立的日子雖短,但學院的異象及使命清晰,教學團隊以身教及言教培育學生具備『CHRIST』的核心價值,謙卑委身的向著目標進發。」他寄語宏恩將來繼續「凝聚動量,持守使命,成為信息,邁向成熟」。 宏恩的教學團隊及學生亦在午餐會上分享及對話。其中,學生分享自己修讀課程的原因及課程為他們帶來的改變,他們亦感謝教學團隊的悉心栽培,裝備他們將來服侍社會。
